Larry Hochwert opened The Carpet Store in
Tucson in 1978. Today, the store continues to be run by Larry and members of his family. The Carpet Store
offers a wide selection of flooring products such as ceramic tile, laminate, vinyl, wood flooring and carpet. The Store distinguished itself from the competition by promising no hidden charges and superior product knowledge.
According to Larry's son, Dan, "Big Box Stores" often
promise rock bottom prices, only to later add additional fees. The Carpet Store prices reflect the actual price customers
pay out the door without the hidden charges. According to the Hochwerts, what really sets them apart from the competition
is their experience in the flooring industry and extensive product knowledge. When you call or visit The Carpet Store,
you can always receive the personalized attention of one of the Hochwert family members. The business continues
to thrive due to continued family involvement. To this day Larry tries to do most of the estimates himself. Fair pricing, honest salesmanship and superior installation make it an obvious choice for any homeowner.
